when you have a fleet of servants who make your life a living hell

when 'keeping up with the jones' is an immediate problem

when names of khaybans are as familiar as the lines drawn on one's palm.

when Ami's, and Agha's are closer to you than your heart beat

when you suddenly get a desire to go all religious in a fanatic way

when places like Tariq Road seem like the end of the earth

when your children believe 'water' comes in Tankers only (from GOD)

when having a couple of armed security gaurds is the only way to be

when your evening starts at around 10.pm at night

when being a woman you greet other women by shooting flying kisses at least 5 inches away from each other's face :)

when 'your own circle of friends' are THE best and everyone else - well just not good enough!

when climbing the social ladder is looked DOWN upon

when you can never even think of visiting anyone without giving them a call or making a plan like a year in advance

when your child has a separate car and a driver [and a guard to go with it]

when eating alone in a restuarant isn't a huge issue

when you buy your grocieries from EBCO and cloth from Ashiana

when 'what the tomorrow holds is anybody's guess' [strike, schools shut]

when you meet people you like and no one else

when you get manis and pedis from BINA KHAN and make up/hair at Natashas

when Nabila does your hair [personally]

when you have a personal trainer coming to your house

when you're into spirituality and life coaches

when you call domestic help - staff [for their sheer #]

when you write blogs about yourself and post them on twitter and fb!
