The Arrow of Time

There is always change taking place around us, in us, with us. We are growing old, the world is changing, new technologies are being discovered, there is a phenomena called the 'The arrow of Time' taking place which states that time is always moving into the future and not the past... the rain drops fall to the earth, we witness the event, but we cannot witness the opposite of it like the rain drops that have just fallen going back up in reverse in form of droplets back into the clouds. The Volcano erupts and the lava is thrown out but it can't go back in, in the same manner the past events cannot or rather don't happen again, we are continuously moving forward and what marks that movement is the perception of change. When the universe will be capable of no further change, the possibility of future will die and the arrow of time will come to a halt - in fact at that moment the universe as we know it will cease to exist.

Isn't this a mind boggling concept? That there will in the future come a time when all activity visible and otherwise in this Universe will stop and then time will stop because there will be nothing differentiating this minute from the next, there will be no matter that can transform its shape, there will be no event that would be from start to finish all will equalize and be same.

The current physicists now believe that the Universe could have come out of 'nothing at all' that is the earlier belief that matter cannot come out of nothing is outdated and yes the religious theory (if one can call that) could after all be scientifically proven that there was actually nothing before the Universe, and matter can come out of nothing!
