The honorable ( question mark) leader of the opposition has publicly admitted that his family is not Pakistani!!!!!! Oh my god! Up until now doubts have been cast as to the holding of foreign passports and dual nationality by many members of both the houses, that makes up the leadership of this wronged country. The fiery maulana of jamait- islam is also said to be the lucky father of American
children, never mind the public stance against America that he touts every five minutes. But, Chaudary Nisar, who has the public position
of being against the united states, is now revealed to be a close personal friend and a sympathizer of America! He is said to privately assure the erstwhile US ambassador to pakistan of his alliance and complete favoritism towards the US. Very good. How cushy and comfortable are we!
Now please explain to me that a man whose family isn't Pakistani, who probably have flicked their blue passports at various international airports, who certainly have bank accounts and other property in their own country, how can that man be said to have his interest coincide with the interests of a country that he may belong to, but, actually does not belong to in the larger scheme of things. What stakes does that have in Pakistan? When and if the going gets rough he has only to pack a bag and get on the next flight and be gone! How can he feel that affinity towards this very maligned state when the US embassy issues the family travel warnings to pakistan? When and if need be his family would be flown out of this third world failed state in state aircrafts to safety? What does such a divided man have to offer us? The down trodden and average pakistanis who do not have the money or the fortune to have a ready fallback in case of emergency.
My personal opinion is that dual or other nationality holders must not be allowed to run for any public office - and in that one stroke probably 80% of the present members would be cast aside - and that would amount to good riddance to bad rubbish. People like Altaf Hussain who is sitting pretty in the UK and now this CHaudary Nisar, should and must not be allowed to meddle in Pakistani politics, because their thinking and interests collide and their purposes are skewed. Instead of graduate degree being a mandatory requirement for the electoral office, citizenship, that is sole citizenship of the country ought to be a definite requirement. Let's not let people whose own interests lies elsewhere be in a lauded position to rule over us and tell us what is good for us, let them go and play leader in their own naturalized countries.
And, one last thing, Mr. Nisar, this isn't your private concern in fact you do not have any private concerns since you have chosen to be a leader of the country, all your interests are open for public debate and we will ponder and question them, as far as your love for the motherland is concerned that is not under doubt, I'm sure you love Pakistan, but it seems you don't much dig anything Pakistani including of course passports - and that is the only reason pakistanis may not really love you!
