seriously! We are inhuman animals! no monsters! We are evil the devil himself in garb of Muslims - the so called Muslims only in name and show. We love to make a fuss about the Juma prayers, taking time off from work, rolling up our sleeves and pants, doing the wuzu for almost an hour (despite the ultra hyped and very rel shortage of water in the country,) or don the shalwar kameez on Jumas (fridays) to look the part of the pious momin, we take the afternoon off, and go to the masjid to listen to some fiery maulvi shoot like a machine gun on some non-issue and bypass all the things that really matter like - no stealing of shoes in the masjid, or hello no car-jacking outside it.
The rangers (most hated and venomous of the law-enforcers) killed a man in cold blood and point blank range in Clifton today! The videos are all over the net and the man is seen pleading and begging to no avail, he is shot and then left there to die! Is this an act of a Muslim or even a Muslim by name? Even if were guilty, he was within the reach of the ranger, and could have easily been over-powered and arrested and the law would have dealt with him. But, these self-appointed avengers killed him on the spot, where is the Islamic spirit and justice in that. And, leaving religion aside for a minute, where does any law in the world allow you to do this? only fascist maybe? and that too a political dissent and threat to fascist government must be established, here the man was a potential purse-snatcher?!
I don't blame the people who want to run away from this hell (made by devils that roam the streets) and settle in some other and yes civilized country, a better society for their children to be raised in, for what have we to give to our children here? except for violence and a lesson in doing all the right things the wrong way. I feel like crying since my 12 year old described the video shoot of this killing, he was visibly disturbed and anxious, and the thought of the dead man's mother and family witnessing his death is like a knife being poked again and again in my chest. I want to cry, and hell! I never cry!
Come Ramazan time, all of us, the fakes and the fabulous, will be making iftaris and sending it to their over fed neighbors or feeling totally holy we will send food for the poor and think ourselves confirmed on the next flight to heaven. We are not religious people, we are merely bribers of God and his mercy, like every other thing that works with palms greased in this country, we think this is the way to earn God's pleasure, how best will we be able to impress him and win him over, like I said some place else, we are still in the stone age, practicing religion as a form of sacrifice to appease God and assure his pleasure. Aqeel Dedhi of phase 5 defence of the Stock Exchange defame, will have rows and rows of needy people, and iftri spread out for them on chittais on Khayaban-e- Hafiz, UFFFFF, ultra show off, what is he telling the rest of us? that he is whitening his money in God's forum by doling out bananas and rooh afza to the poor! What is he and people like him trying to prove and why is it that on seeing the moon of Ramazan they have these holy urges to be good and do good and come Eid Chand they all are celebrating with Black Labels and Vodka! ufff the pretentiousness of people here is suffocating me.
Every day we are guilty of killing our own people and hell! are totally blase about it! We don't bother nor do we care. It is just another statistic. Our children are on the streets and so our elders also increasingly, but why the well fed and full of ourselves men and women of this country be concerned!
