UFFF! MIRZA! ad nauseam!

I haven't a clue about other people, but I'm about done with Mirza's endless nonsensical diatribe! Today's headlines take the cake! The man is saying exactly what????? I mean do I understand him correctly? that he had some of the target killers, who are creating mayhem in Karachi but he let them free because Mr. Rehman Malik asked him to do so in the interest of Pakistan's survival and integrity??? Tell me I'm dreaming, please shake me up from this awful nightmare called Pakistan in 2011, oh! for heaven's sake get me back from this hallucinatory state for all this rubbish that is spewing out of the gutter that is Mirza's mouth is beyond belief.

Hell, it isn't what he confesses to that is unbelievable, the fact that he is confessing to all that in public, and believes that he is doing us (the hapless people of this most hapless country) a favor and a service is most appalling and totally illogical. The fact that a former minister of Interior can stand up in public and admit to what amounts to great misdemeanor of duty and expects to be applauded for it is what's absurd. It only makes one thing very clear - and that is we as a nation are beyond redemption. All the rules of correct behavior,of what is right governance, of good and evil have been turned upside down. We, in Pakistan live in an inverted world, a reality that is completely ripped up off any semblance of what passes for morality and truthfulness in this realm.

And, hence it is in his warped and twisted world of Pakistani politics, criminals, liars, treasonous people, self-centered plunderers become the leaders and hold the reign of the realm, ufffff, how tragic and desolate the situation is when all what is right is rejected for all what is wrong and evil. The same Mirza, the maverick, the buffoon, that we all are so impressed with these days has admitted to acting wrongly, of letting murderers go Scot-free, and that admission is made not in some dark and dingy smoke-ridden, humid basement of the black city, whispering in the ears of some black guard confidant, with the hope of never to see the light of the day -------no-------------- no such discretion for Mirza! He has confessed to his black sordid deeds in full view of press and the public as though he had done us a great service and now must be repaid with our gratitude and regard.

I don't for a second blame Mirza for taking the law of the land in his own hands and forgiving the killers by letting them free! hell not at all, for the laws of this land are truly blind, not in the proverbial sense, but literally, for the Supreme justices and harbingers of law are thoroughly myopic and though they could see the injustice done to them by Musharraf, have no long-distance vision to take suo-moto notice of the killing fields of Karachi. In this vacuum of law and order, in this confusion where might is right why shouldn't the likes of Mirzas and Maliks take advantage of the situation.

Mirza and Malik both are criminals of the highest order, and in the former case, by self admission, they must be at once detained and questioned, and hell! not allowed to hold press-conferences and make statements on all and sundry TV channels further misleading the herd that is already lost and scattered. God Help Pakistan - for all other avenues are shut and locked.
