STOP IT!!!!

They are at it again! killing each other in Karachi, mercilessly, in cold blood. What are we? Can we actually call ourselves Muslims and prostrate before Allah and pray to him, thank him for his beneficence and his goodness and plead to him to show us the path of the righteous? What are we doing pulling up guns (horrific killing machines of all kinds and make) on innocent passengers in the public transport. The buses of the city are being targeted, people riding are just gunned down! but why? I want to know who is behind all this blood shed and why is our government so ineffectual in getting a grip on the city's situation??

Is Mr. President in the city? If yes, where is he now? what measures has he taken to stop this massacre that has unleashed on this unlucky metropolis for that last three days? Mr. Zardari, please, give your attention to this most pressing matter! for Karachi is burning! I haven't a clue why with your huge force of rangers (read useless) huger army (read inefficient) have you not yet woken up to the fact of what is happening and why haven't crucial steps been taken to mend the situation? If the police and rangers are not able to stem the tide of anger of man against man, then why isn't the army yet deployed to save more innocent lives from being killed most unnecessarily!!? Why is their so much inertia in everything you do or rather not do, why this paralysis of mind and body which has given you this fixated, constipated, artificial smirk on your face, so not liked by the citizens of this most hapless country. Why have you and other leaders taken on the mantle of leadership? when you have failed miserably at not only governing, but providing the basic need of safety of life and property to the people at large. Why have you come to Karachi? how can you sit ensconced safely in your fortress, at Bilawal House in Clifton, when your people are dying left right and center for no crime at all?? Do you ever think? Do you have a conscience? Do you ever consider how hated and maligned you are by the very people you failingly profess, to rule and lord over?

And, where is our most resilient of Prime Minister? In Islamabad? or on a tour somewhere in the cool climes of Europe, for guess what? its summer in Pakistan and the rich and famous go to 'Vilaya't to cool their heels lest they are counted 'out' of the grand crowd.

Why are people being targeted like birds and bottles? Why is it that no one seems to have the answer to this most simple of questions? Why is MQM impotent in stopping the killings and most potent in calling a strike and putting the city to a complete standstill? If the ANP is killing the mohajirs then why so many pathans are being killed? what is wrong with us? and our tolerance level? Why has our threshold to tolerate nonsense and completely unacceptable things risen to maximum level? What is the difference between us and the warring blood hungry barbaric tribes of yore? Maybe they had a reason to kill one another, perhaps, there was a dearth of resources and fight for survival. Here, it isn't that, its only the inhumanity of man to man. We have become worse than carnivorous animals who want nothing but meat and blood to satisfy their hunger!

And where is Mr. Rehman Malik of the FIA fame, our most lauded Interior Minister of State, is he still in the process of taking 'serious notice' of the situation in Karachi? or is he at the next most mature level of 'ordering the police and rangers to get a grip on the situation soon'!!! We deserve the government we get along with the 'posse' of ridiculous leaders that come with it. For years we have been taking bullshit, nonsense, utter ludicrous statements of these less than honest, far than intelligent and more or less evil people now its merely TIME TO GET UP AND THROW THEM OUT ONCE AND FOR ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
