AAp KA.................Nawaz Sharif!
why must we be eternally grateful to Mr. Sharif
1. for introducing a novel kind of stupidity in the country's politics which can be only said in local jargon and goes something like " aa bael mujhe maar" by ingeniously and unknowingly handing over a preplanned coup to the military by hijacking the plane of the national carrier, carrying hundreds of civilians, and one army chief!
2. for showing courage and candor by signing a deal with the khakis and flying off by the night to safe haven of Saudi Arabia. He's shown us that courage is an unnecessary and highly over-rated component of character if you want to prosper in the land of the pure.
3.for displaying a love for food, and making the 'average glutton' into a political hero. He's brought 'paya' and 'nihari' and 'lassi' in the political arena and shown how stupid it is to be suave and polite about food consumption.
4.for showing absolute disregard to the deal signed with the army government and returning to the country claiming his status as a free citizen of the land, and on his arrival dancing very very badly on the roof of his multiple high roofs to the applause of his cronies. Mr. Sharif, sorry to be the one to break it to you, you are not or rather shouldn't be a free citizen because of the stint you pulled to murder the sitting army chief. But, then this is a land of wonders, and thanks to you we have come to know that treason, coups and sedition aren't punishable crimes in our country.
5.for saving the lives of countless middle-aged paunchy, unimpressive, insipid and boring men of this pure land, by showing them what a hair transplant can do, it can take years off the man! so hell with the serious stuff a full head of hair is whats called for.
6.and lastly for being a incontrovertible proof of the fact, that for political success in Pakistan you need to very stupid and display no sign of slightest intelligence.
P.S And, how can I forget, of keeping in 'chador and chardiwari' his pretty wife Kulsoom Nawaz, but using her female weaknesses to gain sympathy for himself and putting her in the front to do his dirty work and save him from jail and the army's wrath!
