It happens every time without fail, a man would assume one or all of the following about my writings:
a) that all my musings are directed to "HIM' and him alone! That in every sentence, every complain, every sarcasm I am targeting HIM and sending him cryptic messages!!! UFFF, it is exasperating to say the least! A piece of writing isn't always an epistle to one man or another, hello? my friends you are important but not that important for me to write individual blogs to you (I'm so very sorry) The first rule of any writing is to understand the "voice" of the writer/narrator, and the second basic rule is to see the difference between the narrator and the writer - generally two distinct persona. It is sad to see how many educated and supposedly intellectual men are so ignorant of these very basic rules of reading any article/book. Goes to show that we may claim to be a literate people, but 'educated' we are not! So please spare me the rhetoric and stupid inane questions about how and why I wrote this about 'he said this, and he said that'!
b) My point is proven time and again - that Men believe that all revolves around them, that they are the sun around which the planets move and its their sheer presence (gravity) that keeps all afloat. Mr. Everyman, please, you aren't the center of any heavenly plane, and certainly not the center of my universe! so back off and start seeing what I write for what it is and not as a story about YOU! My musings and observations are about men in general and not a person in particular and you, he or she have all the right to disagree! criticize me as much as you want, but please don't confirm all what I'm saying by always assuming that I have YOU in mind 24/7!
